Student of the Week

Congratulations to Jenaya-this week's Student of the Week. Jenaya has put lots of effort into all subject areas. She has shown enthusiasm in all that she does. Fantastic. Well done.

Andy Warhol Hands

In art we have been studying the work of American artist Andy Warhol. Andy was very famous for his pop art. We looked at lots of his art and created some of our own.
The hands we made with Mrs May were some of our favourites.

Sports Activator

Today we were lucky enough to have Olivia come and help us with our Rippa Rugby skills. We played heaps of fun games and had an awesome time.

Student of the Week

Congratulations to George- this week's Student of the Week. George completed his own piece of art and then began to help others when they needed help. Thank you for sharing your artistic skills with us George. Well done.

Bob Bickerton Performance

Today Bob Bickerton a very funny and talented man came and performed for us. He played a lot of different instruments during his performance. Bob still played like he was 21 years old. Bob has played over thirty different instruments in his life.

 

Today he played 16 different instruments these included the- Harp, Violin, Guitar, Koauau (Maori flute), Flute, Whistle, Harmonica, to name just a few!

 Bob shared lots of his musical knowledge with us and explained which country each instrument came from, what they are made of and how they worked.

Room 7 really enjoyed his performance.
