Basketball STEM activity

Last week's STEM activity was to design and make a tower to hold a basketball for 20 seconds. The only materials the groups were allowed to use were newspaper and masking tape. There were extra points for the height of the tower.

This proved quite a challenge to build something strong enough to hold a heavy basketball. Well done to the 3 groups who managed to construct a tower that could hold the basketball for at least 20 seconds. Big congratulations to Logan, Lochie and Kade for having the tallest tower by 1cm.
